Don't tell, but I've got sooo much to do this week before Friday. And what better way to remedy this overload of work than to create a blog? That's right: there simply isn't any.
I suppose I could start off with something witty and clever or insightful and resonating, but, seriously, I've got stuff to do. Like, I need to finish reading Cressida Cowell's How to Be a Pirate before Thursday, so I can return it the Bibliothek before it's due (although I don't think it's one of the ones I've renewed already). And by "finish," I mean start.
It's supposed to snow tomorrow. A lot. I'm kind of hoping that classes are canceled. But that hasn't happened to me yet. So it follows that I should now get back to doing homework. Maybe that will trick the school into canceling class. One can hope.

- I always hate summarizing myself. I love lots of things and hate having to choose one or two in answer to "What do you do?" or "Tell me about yourself." So I usually just describe myself as a film major, which I am. But I don't usually view myself as that; it's just an easy explanation. I could say what I'm fascinated by: architecture, education, folklore, history, the Muppets, film history, music, languages, writing, reading (kid's/YA, mostly), etc. And that'd be accurate, but I don't want to choose just one or two of those interests to define myself or create my career (except maybe writer. I could settle for that). I want them all, and more than that, but that's hard to get across in a twenty second introduction. So I'll just say "I'm Becky. Nice to meet you." and leave it at that for the time being.
